Went to watch Beauty World because I heard so much about it and a friend of mine was trying to arrange a group gathering for us to watch it together. However, our time tables clashed so we decided to watch it on our own.
No regrets watching this wonderful musical at all! it was hilarious, entertaining, heart warming, a musical where every Singaporean can relate to with its occasional Singaporean-Cantonese dialogue. I recall laughing till tears rolled down my cheeks during the climax. My praise to Elena Wang & Dwayne Tan & Irene Ang as their acting is extremely good and singing voices so melodic to listen to. 3 hours of the show went on effortlessly and not one minute went by making me feel bored or restless. At the end of the show I wished it could continue on but guess that’s the best way to end it – leaving you wanting for more!
I simply loved it!
Next to watch on my list… Dim Sum Dollies!

No, I don’t agree with you with them coming out with a Part 2. I always feel that sequels are never as good as the first one! Look at all those blockbusters that decide to have a sequel! Most of them are mediocre and rarely do they do better that the first! Beauty World should just be Beauty World! But maybe they should team up to do another Singapore inspired musical! I hope Dim Sum Dollies will be as good or even better! Can’t wait!
