Just had my second day of filming, and I think it went ok. As expected the director had things to correct about me like my speech in mandarin was too “biao1 zhun3” that it sounded a bit too theatrical hence not simulating a daily natural speech! *hehe* I think I practiced too much with my aunt and Chinese teacher. And my aunt teaches more theater acting in schools hence the influence! 😛
At least correcting that part wasn’t extremely difficult but it did give me stress as I had to consciously remember not to sound like that anymore! Adding in physical acting and facial expressions, it was kinda overwhelming for a newbie like me!
The comforting part was the director was very nice, patient and actually felt my acting was not bad! 🙂 Maybe that was said to not crush my confidence! *hehe*
Oh well, day 2’s over…. looking forward to tomorrow which has longer and a bit more challenging scenes!

when is miss Singapore Universe 2008 ????
The semi finals is tonight, 5pm at Raffles City, City Square level 3. And the finals is on 20 May. I’ve not been told where the venue is and what time for the finals…
I was hoping to watch it live on tv cause i find it exciting and interesting. Hope that it will telecast on tv next year.

Hi Shiyun! I share the same sentiments as you… I hope MSU will be on TV again soon as it is a national competition thus it really needs the support of Singaporeans! Not being on TV makes it harder this way. I will definitely “gambatei!” and do my very best in every opportunity I get! Thanks for your support! 🙂
