Mika’s been with me for a week and a half and she’s bonded with me pretty well. She’s still slowly getting used to her new environment and slowly making new friends. I’ve been asking lotsa friends over to see her and get her socialised as well as Shibas have to be socialised at a young age if not they will be very timid. Oh, and 2 days ago, I heard her very 1st bark! I felt like a mummy hearing her child’s 1st word! She really wanted attention one morning and did her usual whining (I don’t give in to that) and finally she let out a bark! Just to attract attention! Sooooooo CUTE!
Yesterday when I was playing with her again, she lost her 1st milk tooth at home! I was at 1st a bit shocked as I wasn’t sure that was her milk tooth and thought she might have chipped a tooth! Hee… I later realised it was her baby tooth! 😀
She’s grown quite a bit now even though it’s been a week plus… my she’s growing real fast!

U r btr off with this dog methinks. My kitty mauled my sofa to bits. But sigh, i’m too attached to her now to do anything bout it. Yes!!! She’s super adorable! And getting very hyper too! I run up and down with her in the house n she chases me!!! Quite a workout! Will definitely upload more pics of her! 🙂 Akan datang!

btw what brand of camera you used to take her pictures? I like the effect it turns out…and am looking for a new camera right now so i can take better pictures of my dogs as well
Hi Destiny! Yes she’s ultra cute! Some of the pictures are taken with a Canon G9 and the rest with a Canon 40D SLR. If you’re looking more for a point and shoot camera the G9 would be good as SLRs are bigger and a bit more complicated to use. Let me know if U need more info abt cameras! I’ve a lot of friends who are enthusiasts so can help U find out! It’s not easy to get a nice shot of dogs as they can’t really stay still!!! Thank god for digital technology! 😛
thanks so much! Yup! you’re right,its difficult to take pictures of them because they can’t stay still long enough.So I need a camera that can snap pictures quick enough. My current one took awfully long to snap pictures so I always got blurry photos…is the canon G9 quick in snapping shots?
