Mika has been living with me for 3 months now and my she is slowly turning into an adult. Looking back at those photos taken of her when she first stepped into her new home, she looks so much smaller & “puppy-like”.
She has made many new friends around where we live and every morning she will run in the nearby open field unleashed and play “fetch”!
She’s not very good at fetch yet as she doesn’t always bring her ball back to U… it really depends on her mood! But U should really see her sprint! It’s like a lil’ red-brown bullet zipping through the tall green grass – simply amazing! It is only then that she resembles a hunting dog.
Mika also will have a surprise visit from her playmate Silky (my friend Joanne’s Silky Terrier who’s like 11 years old). Although Silky is 1/3 of Mika’s size, Mika is always very gentle playing with her and will not bully her even though she can do it anytime! We would just leave the both of them in my kitchen area and we’ll head out to shop. 🙂

Mika smiles when she sleeps, and I find it simply adorable! She sometimes sticks her tongue out as well.

I like the 3rd picture…the one with Mika licking Silky. Silky has the look that says “Mum……help me…….pls!!!!”
I think looking at dogs as they sleep is such a soothing thing to do. My wife and I love to watch Sas as she sleeps in her bed. And wait until she finds my cupboard open……she will hide itself and will not let anyone drag her out.
Does Mika have the same habit where she simply goes all soft when you try to get her to do something she does not wanna do? Sas does that!
Hey! Mika doesn’t have that habit but when she stubbornly doesn’t wanna do what I tell her to, she’ll dart away very fast! Like when I bring her out to play ball and ask her to go home, she’ll quickly pick up her ball and run the other direction as she wants to stay out and play some more! Mika’s really alert as she’ll sleep beside U, and the minute U move away she’ll wake up and follow U kinda like to make sure U don’t leave her alone!
Yes she has and she’s become a lot more mischievous!

Yea Mika really is my sweetie… She looks like a big dog but comes in a small package! Behaves more like a big dog too! So can’t really call her a toy dog! (hates being carried or sitting on laps) haha… she’s a real character on her own. 🙂
