Hello!!!
This is the 1st time doing a narration style voice recording, and it’s something I’ve never done before. And neither has Desmond. We had to speak with emotions spewing out from our voice so when the audience hears it and watch the silent film, U can know exactly how we’re feeling. Like the thoughts in our head are given a voice.
It was fun, emotional and definitely a fresh experience for me!

Hey Jess, I’m a little confused! What’s the voice over recording for? As in, I thought the film was a silent film – no talking at all? Haha, sorry, I’m blur~
It is still a silent film as in we acted with no dialogue at all. But the VO is there to “speak” what’s on our minds when we’re going thru the motions during the film. Imagine the movie 2046 when they’re doing something with no dialogue but there’s a voice to tell U their thoughts. 🙂
