  Hello! I got mine at Soo Kee Kennels, she’s not cheap tho’ got her at 4.5K. I’m hoping to breed her when I find a suitable male! 😛

  Hi Sam,
  My dog’s a Shiba Inu and it’s considered a small to medium dog weighing from 6-12kg depending on the gender. My doggie is only abt 6.5kg cos she’s small sized. However, this breed is not approved by HDB and U must send in a request if U’d like to keep it in a HDB apartment. They will approve cos a friend of mine got it approved! Hope this helps!

    Hi Kenny!
    What I remember what he tolde was when he got his Shiba he just sent it for approval at HDB. I go find out more n let u know? I didn’t ask too much in detail then. Think he also showed them the weight n size of his dog. Not too sure… I’ll let u know as soon as I find out more k?

  Sorry I’ve not started breeding mika yet, so no puppies. Try going to Soo Kee kennels at Balestier Rd. They bring in Shiba pups constantly!

    I asked my friend and he said another friend of his got his Shiba approved by HDB as well recently. “My friend’s shiba, maya which appear in newspaper two or three weeks ago in sunday plus also got his approved. I told him to approach his area hdb town council and inform them that u would like to keep shiba but was not in hdb approved dog list. Then provide them the comparison of jap spitz vs shiba as well as the dog temperament. If they don’t approve, just keep it quietly cos shiba seldom make noise.”
    
    Which is true my Mika barks like once every 6mths or so. My neighbours didn’t even know I had a dog for moren than a year till they saw mika in the lift one day!
