Hello!
This was one of the outdoor shoots for The Ultimatum, where I’m acting as a master pastry chef! It’s so fun being this character as I really do love baking and it’s a passion that I’ve developed since I was in secondary school.
Never did I imagine that I could don a chef’s uniform one day and be a “master chef”! 😛

Hey Jess. Heard there will be a roadshow for “The Ultimatum”. Will you be attending that one? 😀
Hi Jessica,
So what was your favourite dishes – western or chinese or both? Sometimes I did some fusion for my family to try and also I did not follow recipe most of the time. I would taste food outside eg. the last time I tasted the Mandarin Hotel tomato fried rice then I tried at home but I fusion it with some western style. I also try to cook some dishes after watching Yan Can Cook programme.
I have this passion to create with new dishes or change some recipes to some new flavoured dishes that my friends always asked me tor run a restaurant but I was not keen as cooking commercially “kills”the joy of creation.
I am always on the lookout for new dishes and ideas and if you are ok to share some of your info with me and vice versa.
Thanks.
Best regards, Philip
Hi Philip!
The answer is neither! My favourite cuisine is Japanese! But as for cooking I love to experiment with all and like you do the fusion thing. Many of times I would be inspired to cook a certain dish and I will Google it, read several recipes and come up with my own. hehe… that makes cooking/baking a whole lot more interesting, don’t you think? I love to watch Asian Food Channel & Travel & Living for food programmes as well – to learn and to gain more insights.
I’ve a lot of hand written recipes cos I do my own alteration at home when I experiment!
Glad to know that U love cooking too! It’s a real stress reliever for me and I love to see how people enjoy my food!
XOXO
Jessica
