Hello!
I just had a Tiramisu Party for the cast & crew of When Night Fa11s over the weekend. This party came about when Brian “demanded” that he has to try my tiramisu since he has heard so much abt it! So I called it the Tiramisu Party cos the purpose of all of us meeting up is to eat my home made tiramisu! It was a potluck thingy for lunch and we had to most delicious Beef Rendang & Curry Chicken – compliments of Derrick & Michael.
Desmond was really late for the party, and when he arrived with sushi we kinda stuffed ourselves with the food and Old Chang Kee Curry Puffs (from Brian)! Round 2!
But the highlight was definately the Tiramisu everyone was waiting eagerly to try. Phew! I passed their test, and everyone loved it!
Too bad 1 month old Baby Chloe couldn’t enjoy our scrumptious lunch! (Derrick’s & Mui Ling’s newborn)
XOXO

Everyone including Mika enjoying Tiramisu!
Hello jessica! 😀
You made the tiramisu all by yourself?
It look really delicious.
Hi Cheryl,
Yup, I made the tiramisu myself including the sponge!
😉
mika is really big now!!!
Hey Ev!
Mika’s getting heavier! Think my biceps are getting bigger from carrying her! 😛 But she doesn’t seem like she’s getting any bigger to me!
Don’t hold the knife like that.. You look scary & murderous. Hahaha. And reading your blog, especially when you blog on your dog, Mika, makes me more & more fond of her. She’s looking good & pretty! 😉
Hey Janyssa,
It’s a palette knife so it’s not dangerous at all! 😉 Yea, Mika’s a darling… and it’s hard to stay angry with her when she’s naughty cos she’s sooooo cute!
hey jess! your tiramisu looks damn good!!
mind share with me the recipe?
Thanks
Diana
Hi Diana,
I’ve the tiramisu recipe in my “Recipe” archives! Just look for Recipe>Tiramisu on the dark blue menu bar on my blog page. That’s the recipe I use normally, but this recent pics I “altered” it a bit and baked my own sponge which is more time consuming and troublesome. Just use sponge fingers which are really cheap and halves your cake making time! 🙂
P.S. This recipe is a bit softer and a whole lot richer than most Tiramisu that U’ll eat in SG. (More Italian Style) Hence, making it in a rectangular foil tray or in individual portions than scooping it up is recommended cos it doesn’t stay up well. If U want to make it in a cake form, U have to add 2 wafers of gelatine soaked in ice water then dissolved with some cream. 🙂
Happy baking!
Jessica
hi, can check if you know where can i get lady fingers for the Tiramisu in singapore? 🙂
anyway your Tiramisu looks awesome.
hi Pauline,
Thanks! 🙂 Lady/sponge fingers can be easily bought from Cold Storage, Tierney’s, Jason’s or think Phoon Huat might have em’. But I usually get em from my nearby supermarket, it’s not hard to find! Also, when buying mascapone cheese for Tiramisu, try to buy this brand – Galbani (only found in Cold Storage) but often out of stock (cos I think it’s so popular!)
Hope u’ll have fun trying this out!
XOXO
Jessica
