I received this in my email and instead of forwarding it on to friends I decided to post it up on my blog because it’s totally cute and also, very sad that shy animals like Koalas have to resort to this just for survival.

AT 120 DEGREES IN AUSTRALIA , IT WAS SO HOT FOR A WEEK THAT KOALAS WERE ASKING PEOPLE FOR WATER. IT’S NEVER BEEN SEEN BEFORE.
ONE WENT TO A HOUSE TO TRY TO HIDE FROM THE HEAT AND TO GET
A BIT OF SHADE AND HERE’S WHAT HAPPENED WHEN THE OWNER GAVE HIM
SOMETHING TO DRINK. IT’S REALLY CUTE.

Omg the poor koalas! I hope none of them have lost their lives due to the heat 😦 At least it’s in Aus where the people have more compassion for animals as compared to here. Sigh. They’re so adorable though!
