Arghh…. My house has been ants/pests free for 2 years n now suddenly there’s ants invading my territory! First, there’s 1 or 2, a few hours later there’s a whole colony of them! Sprayed, stomped, traced the source, sprayed some more n I thought “settled!” but NO! A few days later they’re back with a vengence from a different location. Grrr…
I must get rid of them before they decide to be permanent residents! Now everyday when I get home, I get so paranoid n start checking everywhere for my lil “nemesis” before I settle down. I will persevere n hopefully they will give up soon n target a different territory!

me too! these pests shows up uninvited and all over the place! here’s a tip, follow their trail to the nest and eliminate from there.
Heya! Thanks for d tip! The problem is they’re coming from outside! And it’s hard to find d nest as it’s outside n not within my apartment! Grrr… Unless I jump off my balcony! Or follow the pipes! Once they came in thru my drain pipes!
The above tip has minimal effectiveness. U can try the “Golden Hammer Ants and Cockroaches killer”, from Homefix.
Just pour some along the ant path and let them bring the “food” home. Then they will all suffer from collective poisoning and kick the bucket together. Not even one ant will survive to spread the word around that you are the great ant terminator if u do the job correctly.
So it is a very effective way to send the entire clan to heaven with minimal effort. Alas, why is there such a vast treatment between animals and insects.
Thanks! Will try that next time when they come back! So far I think I’ve gotten rid of them! No ants for about a week. Guessed I chased them away the good old fashion way – with insecticides! I used to use Ant Rid. Also similar to the one u recommend, the ants bring it home n poison the entire colony!
Why do insects n animals get treated differently? I don’t know! To me I don’t like insects cos they bite! N they invade ur home without permission! Hee… Hate wasps n cockroaches too! But that’s just fear speaking…

hello jessica, sorry for the late reply! Its not my dog actually, its my bf and his sister’s one (the lady sitting beside the dog)! Yes Jacob is one of the cafe that dont mind us bringing dogs! we always face with limited options when it comes to eating great food and bringing a dog along! Another fav place of ours is the dog cafe inside pasir ris pet farm but you need to enter by the fish farm entrance further down and not the dog farm entrance. They serves not bad food and we ll always bring her along when we go and top up her food supplies! The dof foods and all are so much cheaper then outside as well! The cocker spaniel is reaching 10 months alr! Yes yes Soo Kee dogs are really well groomed and taken care of! Although we paid quite alot for it but it saved us alot during her early months as she was so healthy and had no problems compared to dogs that were bought from the farm – they looked so sicky and sad!
Your bf must have commented that someone kept looking at your table (me!) and you still looked so gorgeous without make up!! Tts awesommmeee good man! I dont even looked that good with make up on! hahaha!
Oh I wanna ask you smth, where did you go and cut your hair or where is good to cut bangs? Have been considering long time to cut bangs as well as chin length hair! hahahaha!

I too go to petgamart to top up mika’s food supplies cos it’s so much cheaper! In fact that day when we met at Jacobs Cafe, I was just there to buy pet food. 🙂
I always advise ppl not to get pets from pasir ris farmway. They really don’t take care of the puppies there n there’s a lot of inbreeding going on there. Supporting them is just encouraging such bad conditions n animal cruelty to continue!
My bf didn’t notice your table the other day – we were busy admiring your pup! It’s uber cute!
As for doggie cafe u can try the one at balestier near Soo Kee called Urban Pooch Cafe – they serve both dog n human food! Or the restaurants along Sunset Way are very dog friendly! Bark Cafe at Changi, Les Amis Cafe at Botanic Gardens too! I googled before to search for dog friendly places!
I cut my hair at Mosche at Claymore Road behind Lido. Leslie cuts my hair but can look for Annie too her rates r cheaper. I got sick of my hairstyle so I went to get bangs! Go cut!!! If u don’t like ur look with bangs it’ll grow out in a few weeks! Hee…
