Just got back from a great dive trip in Bali! Visited the USS Liberty Wreck, Crystal Bay for the Molas & Manta Point for the graceful Mantas. Didn’t take any underwater photos this time as I purely wanted to enjoy the sights of the elusive Molas. The molas are simply amazing & beautiful, and such strange looking fish! And i’m so happy we were so fortunate to see so many of them underwater looking back at us!
More photos of us having fun around Bali will be posted up soon once it’s edited!

Hi Jessica,
Nice pictures u have. and u look v pretty. U have v natural and nice complexion.
Just wondering what products do u use? And do u ever have pimples? Because ur skin look so flawless everytime i see ur pictures or see u on TV or magazines.
If so, what do u use when u have pimples? Any good products to share?
Thanks!
I like ur blog. Do update more often:)
Hi Xin!
Thanks for your compliments! 🙂 and yes I do get pimples, especially nearing that time of the month. I used to have really bad acne and through proper, hardworking skincare regime then my acne cleared up.
I’m currently in love with this USA brand Peter Thomas Roth, and if you have troubles with pimples, PTR Gentle Complexion Correction Pads is s must! It helps prevent pimples & blackheads.
I’m using a large range of the products but it’s rather costly. Try the Correction Pads first and see if you like them. Locally u can buy it from Strawberry.net but I get mine through amazon.com.
Other than skincare, it’s important to use a make up base b4 applying any make up to prevent clogging of pores and it helps make up last longer. Try using RMK’s pore minimizing creamy base. I simply love it! Usually I just use that without foundation when I’m lazy.
Oh yah and one more very important thing – sunblock!
I hope this helps answer your skincare questions, and do feel free to ask again if you wanna know more!
XOXO

Hi Jessica,
Thanks for your prompt reply 🙂
I’ve went to Peter Thomas Roth website to take a look. I dont mind trying the PTR Gentle Complexion Correction Pads. But just wondering how to use it? Are the pads used for cleaning up the face after cleansing? If so, after using the pads, can we apply anything else to the skin? Btw, are u using this product too?
Thanks. 🙂
Hi Xin,
yes I’m using these cleansing pads regularly now. Use it in place of toner after cleansing, pat whatever liquid left on your face in, then apply serum/moisturizer after. Some ppl use these pads daily, but as my skin is normal skin type I use the pads on alternate days and toner on days I don’t use it. I tried using it daily that my skin started peeling (because of the acid), so decided that alternate day use is the best for me. The best this about using the cleansing pads is that I noticed my blackheads (ESP around the nose area) started disappearing & my pores became tighter. Hence skin looks cleaner n more radiant.
Try it & see if u love it as much as I do!

Thanks Jessica. Thanks for your recommendation and explanation of the product! Have a good week ahead! 😀
Hey there Jessica, I came across your blog when I was searching on diving blogs. I have a question for you as I love to do outdoor sports but my skin condition worsens as it gets more frequently exposed to the sun. I see that you have a very nice and beatuiful complexion even though you are so active outdoors. What type of sunblock and moisturiser do you use to keep your skin looking healthy and fair at all times?
Thank you.
Hi Samantha!
Thank you for your compliments! Everytime when I’m outdoors, I will use sunblock from my face all the way to my neck & shoulder area (Biore SPF50 Milky Lotion for face). And while diving, I use SUNPLAY SPF130 on my neck & face, and Banana Boat’s SPF 70 for the rest of my body. Each time I surface from a dive, I will reapply a new layer. Especially on my face. I always wear a full suit while diving for added protection too. At night after diving, your skin is generally dehydrated from the sea water & sunblock, so I’ll apply a hydrating Sleeping Mask (Lanaige or Face Shop) to freshen up my skin. I love diving but hate the sun so I always take extra precaution with my skin.
As for my skin care products, I use a mixture of Lanaige Star White products, Peter Thomas Roth moisturizers, Lancaster 360 renewal serum, and lots of facial masks (almost every night). I also use Nivea’s Night Whitening lotion all over my body every night before I sleep.
Sounds like a lot of work right? But I can’t help it that I’m vain! Haha!
Hope this helps you and please don’t stop your outdoor activities! Just put in more effort after it!
XOXO
Jessica
*beautiful. Sorry
