Hello!

Here’s pictures from the SA show on Sunday 25 April 2010. Thank you Lai Chan for the beautiful green dress! He’s a very talented local designer who did my Cheong Sam for Show 1 as well! My very first time wearing this colour and I LOVE it!

I really enjoyed the Star Awards this year as it was so different and the venue made it a lot more glamourous. The red carpet walk down reminded me of the Golden Horse Awards and Oscars! Though I did trip a little towards the end of the red carpet from the uneven floor. Nothing too embaressing but a little scary! Imagine if I really fell on the red carpet… So embaressing!!! – Aunty Lucy. LOL

Hello from Cameron Highlands!

I’m up in the highlands of Cameron! Visited the waterfalls, tea plantations, strawberry farms so far. I’ve yet to see the bee farm and rose valley! Can’t wait!

Marie Antoinette Bridal Shower

Hello!

Been busy planning n co ordinating this bridal shower/hen party/bachelorette party for my good friend Berinda! Thanks to the Internet & online shopping, it made planning it easier! With great help from Jaime who planned out the bridal games & Pamela who helped out with the decorations! And the rest of the girls who came early to help set up!

It was a fun filled night of games, laughter, secrets, champange, cakes, pies & lotsa love for the bride to be – Berinda!

Maybe I can consider party planning as a sideline business? Hmm… It’s really stressful but I enjoyed the whole process!

Mika And Her Blind Date!

Hello!!!

Mika went on a blind date 2 weeks back to meet handsome Vivo! It was a rainy day so plans changed from having a romantic date at Marina Barrage to a nature meet up at the Botanic Gardens.

Mika: “I’m so excited meeting my second male Shiba. Will he be my potential mate? I wonder what he will be like? I hope he’s a looker and has good character! Hmm… But I can’t seem so eager when I see him. I must play the game and be slightly aloof! Great! That’s my plan.”

So when Vivo first arrived – he was late for his first date. (minus points, but I shall forgive him since it’s raining) Mika was very shy and took some time to warm up to him. But when she finally warmed up, they played ferociously and it was totally adorable! Chasing each other around and play fighting. Vivo is really big sized and Mika looks soooo tiny beside him! But Mika is more feisty then Vivo even though there’s a big difference in size!

Vivo and Mika had great chemistry and she’s looking forward to meeting up with him again! What a great start!

Cherry Blossoms in Singapore

Was at Pasir Ris Farmway the other day buying food for Mika and I spotted these beautiful flowers growing on these big plants!

A myriad of pink in this small plot of land which reminds me of cherry blossoms in japan. Although I’ve never seen cherry blossoms in japan before, I did see d actual trees in Las Vegas in the Bellagio.

If only we can see more pretty flowers blooming all over Singapore!

Ants Infestation

Arghh…. My house has been ants/pests free for 2 years n now suddenly there’s ants invading my territory! First, there’s 1 or 2, a few hours later there’s a whole colony of them! Sprayed, stomped, traced the source, sprayed some more n I thought “settled!” but NO! A few days later they’re back with a vengence from a different location. Grrr…

I must get rid of them before they decide to be permanent residents! Now everyday when I get home, I get so paranoid n start checking everywhere for my lil “nemesis” before I settle down. I will persevere n hopefully they will give up soon n target a different territory!

Viewers Choice Awards

Attended The Viewers Choice Awards dinner gala last Friday at the Shangri-La Hotel. It was a night of great food, great company and great entertainment!

Congratulations to MCYS winner of local catergory and Hyudai winner of international category.

My predictictions were all wrong! I guessed that Tiger Beer(local) and Heineken(international) would have won as their ads are so funny! Although I’m no beer drinker but I really love the screaming men in a room full of beer! It’s hilarious!

Kumar was there to entertain us as well and he looks the same – never aged a single bit! Still remember his shows vividly when I was in school – The RaRa Show! I still love his jokes – crude and straight up! And he has included some new ones in this new act. Previously when I saw him in Boom Boom Room (eons ago) and then after in another occasion, he was using similar jokes and I was kinda expecting to hear his old jokes and not be too surprised. He even included Jack Neo in his acts! LOL!
