Hello!

I received this in my email and instead of forwarding it on to friends I decided to post it up on my blog because it’s totally cute and also, very sad that shy animals like Koalas have to resort to this just for survival.

Stop GLOBAL WARMING!

I hope these cute pics will brighten up your day and also remind you that our planet is suffering.

AT 120 DEGREES IN AUSTRALIA , IT WAS SO HOT FOR A WEEK THAT KOALAS WERE ASKING PEOPLE FOR WATER. IT’S NEVER BEEN SEEN BEFORE.

ONE WENT TO A HOUSE TO TRY TO HIDE FROM THE HEAT AND TO GET
A BIT OF SHADE AND HERE’S WHAT HAPPENED WHEN THE OWNER GAVE HIM
SOMETHING TO DRINK. IT’S REALLY CUTE.

My Favorite Car!

This is my dream car!!! There’s one now in my car park. And saw another one at Yishun dam the other day!!! There’s more on the rd! Making me smile whenever I see one being driven on the road.

Vintage Telephone

Saw this phone the other day in a shop in Bugis Junction and thought it’s really cute!

It’s put in there for anyone to make a 10 cents phonecall!

Super cute!

Mika turns TWO!

Happy Birthday Mika!

Precious little silly doggie turned 2 in February. Had a TINY celebration for her inviting her 2 favourite playmates – Alvin & Su over to spend this Happy Puppy Day!

We initially wanted to bring her to a pet cafe to celebrate but it wasn’t opened that day. So, I scoured the internet for a yummy doggie cake recipe and whippped up a doggie cake for Mika.

It’s made out of carrots, honey, oil, peanut butter and flour, topped with cottage cheese icing (Mika’s favourite) and peanut butter decorations. And boy did she enjoy the cake! It was a real treat for her!

As U can see, Mika is salivating just looking at her cake!

Do Check out Mika’s new PAGE “Mika” on my blog!

Signing off for now, “woof”

Hello!

If you’re looking for cheap and good western food, you should try the food at Delight n Delicious. I love the Paprika Chicken on the menu. A thick and juicy slab of chicken covered with mozerella cheese accompanied by black pepper brown sauce is simply heaven! Especially when I love cheese so much! Ate there twice at 2 different outlets and both the taste and quality are consistent.

Must try!

Too much Satay!

Came to East Coast Lagoon hawker centre for satay cos someone has a craving for pork satay…

The last time I came here for food was at least half a year ago! I used to frequent here so often as it was so near VJC and I used to stay in the East for a few years.

The Satay at Teddy BBQ n Chicken Wing is not bad (Chinese stall next to the famous wanton noodle). The chicken satay is nicer then pork though but my all time favorite satay is still in Tioman Paya Beach Resort!!! I miss the BBQ seafood n satay there so much!

Cool night, good food. I can sleep so well tonight!

Diving in Maldives

P1010723 - Jessica underwater

Hello everyone!

I just got back from a diving trip to Maldives!

It’s the best diving trip I’ve ever had so far! We got to dive with Whale Sharks (a very rare opportunity – it’s usually snorkeling), Manta Rays, Grey Reef Sharks, White Tip reef Sharks, plenty of Moray eels, big schools of Jacks, Tuna and plenty of colourful tropical fish! Not forgetting the beautiful underwater corals. I’ve always been fascinated with Marine life and all animals life and diving gives me an avenue to experience what I usually only get to see on animal Planet/Discovery Channel.

There was this one particular dive where the divers waited quietly and patiently at this cleaning area (at this point I didn’t know), and when I settled down on the sea bed edge, and looked up, I saw a BIG Grey Reef Shark 2-3 arm lengths away from where I am opening its mouth! The 1st thought that came to my mind was “Wow! I get to see it feed!”, then when I saw how the body was tilted and the mouth was gaping open, I knew it wasn’t the usual feeding body language. Then I realised it was getting its teeth cleaned by these tiny lil’ fish swimming in and out of its mouth!then, another 5-6 sharks started to get used to us and circled around where we were to get themselves cleaned. I was like “Wooowww! This is Animal Planet in my FACE!” I was so happy and thrilled by this whole entire experience – it was like a dream come true!

Then came the dive with the Whale Shark! It is at least 10m long and swam so gently and slowly in the shallow waters feeding on plankton. I dove right beside it from the tail to the mouth and when I reached the mouth, it opened its jaws so big to suck in the plankton! I caught all of that close up of it’s palette on my camera! I could gush on and on about my this dive trip, but let’s let my pictures do the talking! I took most of the pictures and borrowed some from the other divers! 🙂

Enjoy!

Hello everyone!

I just wanna say Congratulations to Vincent & Jacklyn!!! On their happy union. It was such an interesting wedding to attend as they had a Fairy Tale theme & they’re like the prince & princess in every fairy tale living happily ever after! The groom & his “brothers” even rented knights costumes to retrive the bride from the house! how innovative & fun! Held at Fullerton, it was perfect to their theme as it is such a romantic hotel to hold your wedding in, the food was great, the entertainment was wonderful & the lovely couple even took up ballroom dancing just b4 their wedding so that they can have the “Beauty & the Beast” like dance in the centre of the ballroom! Beautiful wedding, beautiful couple!

P.S. Do look out for my diving trip in Maldives coming up soon!
